Born in India, Dr. Manraj Singh Bath relocated to the United States with his family at two years old, in 1970. His parents arrived in the new country with just one suitcase as his father pursued his PhD and was offered a position at a research facility in Pennsylvania. In the process, they both prioritized education for both him and his sister, encouraging them to achieve their goals.
Inspired by his sister who pursued a career in dentistry, Dr. Manraj Singh Bath made the decision to follow in her footsteps, ultimately becoming an accomplished and innovative figure in the medical and dental industries. Since 2003, he’s excelled as the founder and a dedicated oral and maxillofacial surgeon at the Ohio Center for Oral, Facial, & Implant Surgery, a community-oriented and patient-based practice through which he performs surgeries, including cosmetic, dental implants, mouth reconstruction, and wields expertise in diseases and tumors of the face.
In addition to these responsibilities, Dr. Manraj is the founder and a cosmetic surgeon at Bella Cosmedica, a medical spa in Ohio for which he oversees four cosmetic services offices. After attaining a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Case Western Reserve University in 1994, he completed an internship and a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery, the latter at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, and launched his career as an associate in Kentucky and a partner for a private practice from 2000 to 2003. Over the course of his career, he’s always enjoyed pushing the envelope to benefit the patient, whose happiness and confidence after a procedure is incredibly rewarding for him. He’s developed the Lipsix technique technique for lip sculpting and techniques for oral implant surgery, and has been a prominent figure for Dynamic Navigation, a minimally invasive method of combining 3D CBCT imaging with dynamic-guided surgery.
A lecturer in his field, Dr. Manraj has long been active as a member of such organizations as the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Society of Cosmetic Physicians, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry, among several others. As a testament to his myriad contributions, he was nominated for an Agent of Change Award within the Dental OPTIONS Program and HandsOn Central Ohio in 2012, won a Doug Barr Safety Award from the Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce in 2013, and later was a finalist for Health Care Volunteer of the Year Award by Columbus CEO.
Dr. Manraj is also committed to civic endeavors and philanthropy. He founded Extractions on the House, through which he provides free dental extractions for those in need, and offers pro bono casework, including no-cost implants and dentures for veterans. He’s also a participant with the nonprofit Dentistry From The Heart. Looking toward the future, he aims to round up his practice, recruit associates, and develop systems for their success. Upon eventually retiring from private practice, he intends to teach and give back to his community and the oral and maxillofacial surgeon community.
